  1. Just like to extend greetings from Tendance Coatesy. It is very encouraging that the self-management tradition is being carried forward. I would say that it had practically died out in the UK during the 1990s, the last major conference I went to was organised by the Lucas Aeorospace crew and held at the TUC in Great Russel Street in the mid-1990s (though Ken Coates published not too long ago a collection of articles on Workers’ Control).
